Coverage

A link is a permission, not an address.

Most storage leaks start the same way: a URL that is itself the authority, forwarded once and permanent forever. In Weke Drive a share link is a record Drive can expire, disable, or refuse to serve — and the object behind it never has a public address at all.

Internal shares

  • Share a file or folder with a Weke user or group
  • Recipients see the shared item, not its neighbours
  • Weke ID identities, so there is no second address book
Shared with me stays narrow
02

External links

  • Resolve through Drive, never through raw storage
  • Expire, be disabled, or forbid downloads outright
  • A blocked link says no — it does not quietly still work
Recipients need no account
03

Org-wide control

  • One switch disables external sharing for the organization
  • Every share and link creation writes an audit event
  • Admins can see how many links are live right now
Policy beats habit

Finding it again

Search runs over file names and indexed text, and returns only what your permissions already allow — the result list is not a preview of the estate you cannot open.
